The Boston Beara Society


The Society was established in 1995 to promote and celebrate the history, art and music of the Beara Peninsula
and the achievements of its people in Ireland and the USA.
The Boston Beara Society has adapted as it's logo an image of the Cailleach Bheara, the mythological figure
who's petrified remains may still be seen in Kilcatherine in the Parish of Eyeries


The 2009 Boston Beara Society Social
Friends Of The Boston Beara Society, on Sunday April 19th. 2009, we will meet from 2:00 to 7:00pm. at
Florian Hall, 55 Hallet St., Dorchester, MA to celebrate all that we have in common.
Buffet Dinner, door prizes and dance music provided by the Andy Healy Band. Tickets: $50
